VEX IQ Robotics Competition
The AOTE Foundation is excited to introduce four VEX IQ Robotics Teams in 2025-2026 VEX Mix & Match Competition! These teams are led adult engineers who teach middle/elementary school kids how design robots, code, and compete in the national VEX competition. Each team meets weekly to learn about robotics and get ready for the competition.
All VEX robots were and competition fees are funded by AOTE. Our goal is to teach kids engineering skills that they will use for a lifetime. Moreover, we want to build confidence in kids to pursue STEM fields.

After their first match at the Cranbrook Mix and Match Tournament, our RoboRangers Elementary Team was invited to the Michigan VIQRC Elementary State Championship! We're so proud of all the kids.

Cranbrook Mix and Match Tournament 1/31/2026
On January 31, 2026, four of our robotics teams attended their first competition at Cranbrook Kingswood School. It was their first competition, but despite that, every kid tried their best, learned from their mistakes, and won big. It was a long day full of fun and learning.
In the final round, each team surpassed expectations and created new high scores. The RoboRangers team earned the highest score of the entire round: an incredible 203 points! The RoboRangers went on to win the Teamwork Champion Award.

We are so proud of all the kids that participated. Their hard work paid off in the best way possible. We also want to thank the supportive parents and coaches who made their dreams a reality!
